Wilson Elser established its San Francisco office more than 25 years ago, and since then our attorneys have appeared regularly in all courts in Central and Northern California. They have maintained long-standing professional relationships with many of the leading jurists in the area. In addition, our attorneys frequently associate as counsel and supervise litigation throughout the Western United States.
Our San Francisco practice handles complex disputes, employment matters, antitrust actions, e-commerce, environmental impairment, asbestos and toxic torts, product and general liability, and virtually all professional liability issues.
We serve international as well as domestic clients. Our attorneys supervise complex legal matters in France, Italy, Spain, Germany and elsewhere in Europe. We also litigate cases in the International Court of Arbitration.
Additionally, our attorneys in San Francisco are well versed in maritime law. We represent fishing boat owners, pleasure craft owners, and stevedore and terminal operators. We handle a variety of marine matters and blue water cases, and the client roster includes the Ports of Los Angeles, San Mateo and San Diego.
In the area of insurance coverage, our attorneys represent life, health and disability insurers in litigation in state and federal courts throughout California. Our office is experienced in matters involving bad faith and punitive damages, class action, agent misconduct, and other insurance claims and coverage issues. We attain successful outcomes for clients in all aspects of litigation, including trial, mediation, arbitration and motion practice.
Our attorneys also handle all aspects of construction-related cases, which include the defense of contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers.
