Our Washington office handles class actions, construction, corporate, employee benefits, commercial disputes, international arbitrations, insurance and reinsurance disputes and coverage, catastrophic injury claims, environmental law, general liability, premises security, professional liability, labor and employment matters, torts and product liability.
In the areas of medical malpractice and professional liability, our attorneys have been recognized as among the finest litigators in the region. The professional liability attorneys represent some of the nation's most distinguished legal and accounting firms. The range of representation also extends to stock brokers, appraisers and real estate agents.
We advise clients in a wide range of employment and labor issues and assist in the drafting of employer policies and procedures. Appearing before district, state and federal agencies and courts, our attorneys work closely with our clients on matters involving employment discrimination and ERISA claims, from individual claims to large class actions. Our product liability and toxic tort team includes attorneys with litigation experience on both the local and national levels. They defend a variety of manufacturers and products, including automotive goods, electrical appliances, medical devices and pharmaceuticals, industrial machinery, as well as marine, watercraft, rail and transportation equipment. Most of these cases involve high exposure, property damage or catastrophic injury.
