| Biography | Since retiring from the Air Force in 1995, Mr. Camp is involved in many local, state and national bar activities. He presented at 18 Continuing Legal Education seminars for various law schools, the Georgia and America Bar Associations, the Georgia Council of Superior Court Judges, and the Georgia Institute for Continuing Legal Education. Mr. Camp wrote the leading national article on Health Care Options for Former Military Spouses (ABA Family Law Quarterly, pp 227-300, Vol. 43, No.2, Summer 2009). He also drafted and successfully sponsored through the Georgia Legislature, two key statutes that protect military parents in custody and child support matters. In 2011 Mr. Camp was recognized by the Board of Governors for the State Bar of Georgia for Distinguished Service to the Legal Profession. While in the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Camp distinguished himself as Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, as a Staff Judge Advocate at various levels of command, and as Chief Military Legal Counsel at the National Security Agency. Mr. Camp served as Deputy Staff Judge Advocate at United States Central Command during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm in the Middle East. In 1991, he was the Legal Advisor to the United States Military Delegation with the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva, Switzerland for Tri-Party Negotiations for Return of over 85,000 Prisoners of War and Displaced Persons from the Gulf War Conflict. While at the University of Georgia Lumpkin School of Law, he was a member of Phi Delta Phi law fraternity and researched and wrote a book for the Institute for Police Science entitled, "Georgia Search and Seizure Law for Law Enforcement Officers." At Auburn University, Mr. Camp distinguished himself in many academic, leadership, and community service activities. He was named the 1971 Outstanding Graduate of the Turner School of Business and inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi scholastic honor society. He also was a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa and Blue Key Leadership fraternities; and, Lambda Chi Alpha social fraternity. 2002 Georgia Registered Mediator and Arbitrator (NO. 2189).
