Yordanova, Rizova & Partners was founded in 2004 as a partnership. The firm was established by its two name partners - Svetlana Yordanova and Milena Rizova shortly after they left their management positions at Deloitte Bulgaria to start an independent private practice. Since its establishment, the firm has steadily grown in size and successfully expanded its client portfolio.

At present, the firm has four partners, two associates and three junior associates, and relies on the support of highly qualified legal professionals engaged on a project basis. The firm maintains and develops two major lines of service: business law services and tax law services. Our business law services primarily cover corporate law, business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, employment and regulatory matters, with an emphasis on ongoing counsel. Our tax law services focus on corporate income taxation, value added tax, international tax aspects, international assignments, tax planning and structuring, tax disputes and litigation. Our strengths are the unique blend of legal and tax services that we offer, the understanding of our clients' business and the practical and business driven advice that we provide. We maintain an extensive network of professional contacts in the areas of accounting, financial and IT audit, corporate finance, company and assets valuation and human resources with whom we cooperate on complex projects and transactions that require a multidisciplinary approach and expertise. We serve major multinational corporations, respected international companies and reputable local business operating in various industry sectors such as mining and natural resources, energy, telecommunications, information technology, electronics, investment and finance, private equity, manufacture, pharmaceuticals, entertainment, education, utilities, agriculture, real estate.
