The American Recovery and Reinvestment Tax Act of 2009 (the "ARRTA"), which was enacted on February 17, 2009, contains various provisions relating to tax-exempt and tax credit bonds. These provisions both modify the tax law requirements for existing bonds and establish new types of tax-exempt and tax credit bonds.
