FTC Enforcement of FACTA Red Flag Rule Delayed to June 2010

The FTC has again extended the enforcement deadline of the Red Flags Rule ("the Rule") for financial institutions and creditors subject to its jurisdiction. These include state chartered credit unions, mutual funds that offer accounts with check writing privileges, other entities that offer accounts which allow consumers to make payments to third parties, and other "creditors" which maintain covered accounts.
