Founded in 1954 by Gilberto Tamm Barcellos Corrêa, Barcellos Tacunduva Advogados has had and still has members holding extensive legal knowledge, such as Victor Nunes Leal (a former Federal Supreme Court Justice); Jorge Americano (Professor of Civil Law and Head of the University of São Paulo); Antonio Roberto Sampaio Dória (Tax Law expert and professor in the Law School of the University of São Paulo) and Márcio Elisio de Freitas (an attorney with vast knowledge on corporate matter).
