The New Jersey Legislature is about to take on the streamlining of regulations for formation, structure, and operation of the Limited Liability Company, deemed popular in this state. Recently introduced identical Bills S2944 and A1543 propose advancements derived from the national Revised Uniform Limited Liability Company Act and two decades of New Jersey experience with its LLC Act. Beyond the limited liability of the entity, the LLC is permitted favorable operational and taxation choices.
