ABT asserts that AMA showed interest in the program, which prompted ABT to share detailed course materials "with the understanding that AMA could only make use of the materials in a joint enterprise with ABT." Ultimately, the AMA declined to move forward with the joint venture, stating that it conflicted with some of its other offerings.
