Under Construction: Stimulus Recipients Are New Audit Targets |

Many businesses that have already or will soon receive "Stimulus Bill" funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) have not previously conducted business with the federal government. As a result, there are a number of compliance obligations with which they may be unfamiliar. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is implementing a new enforcement initiative targeting recipients of ARRA funds.
