California Court Upholds Constitutionality of Federal Civil Anti-Bootlegging Statute

Recently, a federal trial court in Los Angeles, CA upheld the constitutionality of the federal Anti-Bootlegging Act (the "ABA") as part of the ongoing attempt of musicians Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of the rock band KISS (together, "KISS") to stop the sale of a DVD, entitled KISS: The Lost Concert, containing an unauthorized recording of a KISS concert performed in 1976.
