Google Versus Froogles, Round Two

Who oogled first? This question has become the focus of a dispute between search engine Google and Web site Froogles.com. On April 11, 2005, Google filed a trademark infringement suit against Richard Wolfe, operator of Froogles.com, in federal district court in Brooklyn. The number one search provider complained that consumers could confuse Wolfe's bargain-hunting site with Google's Froogle and even the name Google itself.
