On July 21, 2010, President Obama signed into law the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 ("Dodd-Frank"). While Dodd-Frank primarily consists of significant and sweeping regulatory reform aimed at the financial sector, it also contains several executive compensation and corporate governance reforms that will apply to most U.S. public companies.
