On June 19, 2008, the United States Supreme Court announced a decision that does nothing to introduce more certainty and predictability into the benefit claims determination process. (Metropolitan Life Ins. Co. v. Glenn, 554 U.S. __ , 2008 WL 2444796 (June 19, 2008)).
