When one thinks of Hawaii, many thoughts may come to mind -- relaxing vacations, pristine beaches, volcanoes . . . and wind farms. So, perhaps acres of turbines may not be the first thought that comes to mind. But in the quest for clean, renewable energy that will help to maintain those pristine beaches and relaxing vacations, UPC Wind has built the state's largest wind energy facility on the island of Maui.
