Summary of Draft Illinois Gaming Board Rules for Video Gaming

On October 19, 2009, the Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) released draft rules to implement the Illinois Video Gaming Act, 230 ILCS 40/1, et seq. The rules regulate: 1) the residence of licensees; 2) licensing criteria and procedures; and 3) licensees' duties and discipline. The rules have been submitted for public comment. The IGB will hold a public hearing on the rules on November 6, 2009.
