In May of 2009, the New Jersey Legislature adopted the Site Remediation Reform Act N.J.S.A.C.58:10C-1 et seq. (“SRRA”), which, among other changes to the New Jersey site remediation landscape, privatized the oversight of remediation projects in which a licenses site remediation professional will be performing the role of a New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s (“NJDEP”) case manager.
