Department of Fisheries Licensing Policy on the Implications of the Saulnier Decision

On December 22, 2009, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (“DFO”) issued a licensing policy update setting out how the Supreme Court of Canada’s (“SCC”) decision in Saulnier v. Royal Bank of Canada, 2008 SCC 58, would be implemented.
