USCIS Director Unveils Backlog Elimination Plan | April 24, 2005

U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services ("USCIS") Director Eduardo Aguirre unveiled the agency's Backlog Elimination Plan at a hearing before the House Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security and Claims on June 17, 2004. The Backlog Elimination Plan is designed to reduce all immigration benefits applications to six months by Fiscal Year ("FY") 2006.
