The twenty-first century has ushered in tremendous advances in technology. Both employers and employees are quickly finding creative new ways to utilize these technological advances in the workplace. This three-part series will address the opportunities and challenges employers face when considering three popular uses of technology in the workplace: (1) employers' use of internet content to screen job applicants, (2) monitoring employee-generated internet postings, and (3) employers' use of GPS systems.
