SPAM: Continuing Challenges Created By E-Mail And The Internet

Thanks to e-mail, employees can now communicate with co-workers around the world faster than it would take them to visit co-workers down the hall. Although the advent of e-mail has generally improved interoffice communication, this advance in technology has created new legal challenges. Indeed, there can be no doubt that e-mails, whether from internal or external sources, have increasingly been used as evidence in or the basis for legal claims, and can otherwise be thorns in employers' sides.
