United States Supreme Court Alters Standards for Age Discrimination Cases

The United States Supreme Court changed the manner in which age discrimination cases are to be proven, reaffirming that the burden of persuasion remains with the plaintiff at all times and confirming that a plaintiff must demonstrate that age was the "but-for" reason for the adverse employment decision.
