On April 8, 2009, the Fifth Circuit issued a published decision affirming the complete dismissal of a securities fraud class action filed against Energy Future Holdings Corp. (EFH, and, formerly, TXU Corp.) and its former chief executive in the Northern District of Texas. Fulbright's securities litigation team, led by partners Gerry Pecht and Richard Krumholz and senior associate Peter Stokes, represented both of the defendants and handled all aspects of the litigation in the trial court and on appeal along with EFH's internal counsel.
