REAL ID Act (H.R. 418) Expected To Pass

Congress is expected to pass the controversial REAL ID Act. AILA has issued the attached press release detailing the flaws of this legislation. The REAL ID Act includes a provision that prohibits federal agencies from accepting for any official purpose a state-issued identification card or driver's license that does not meet specified requirements.
