East Timor Inaugural Offshore Acreage Release |

East Timor, the newest country in the world, is opening two offshore areas for bid to perform oil
and gas exploration. After years of Indonesian occupation restricting petroleum exploration, the
country is opening its territory to private investment in the area. Gas discoveries in the region
are promising and commercial and taxation terms are attractive.
