Federal Appeals Court Strikes Down New Hours of Service Rules

On July 16, 2004 the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit issued an opinion striking down the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's ("FMCSA") new hours of service rules for FMCSA's failure to consider the impact of the new rules on the health of drivers.
