Source Inc., a California company that acquired rights to U.S. Patents issued to Patrick McCarthy has begun an enforcement campaign against companies in the travel, hospitality and financial-services industries. On August 5, 2005, Source filed a patent infringement lawsuit in the Eastern District of Texas against Cendant Corp. -- the world's largest provider of real-estate and travel-related services.
