Testified before Congress on pension reform
Mr. Scoggin began his career with a San Francisco Bay Area law firm. Mr. Scoggin joined Albertsons, Inc. in the Labor Relations and Human Resources department in 1993, and was both Vice President of Labor Relations and as Vice President Human Resources and Labor Relations. He has served as a trustee on the board of trustees on a number of Taft-Hartley trust funds over the last decade and testified in 2006 before Congress on pension reform.
Mr. Scoggin received his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School of Law in 1989.
Gregg Formella
Senior Attorney, American Airlines Inc.
Gregg M. Formella is a senior attorney with American Airlines, Inc. His practice includes all aspects of U.S. labor and employment law, with a focus on traditional labor law matters, as well as certain foreign labor and employment law matters. In addition, Gregg handles a variety of corporate law matters, and he is responsible for dealing with international aviation treaty issues and developments.
Prior to joining American in 1998, Gregg was in private practice with the Milwaukee-based law firm of Quarles & Brady, LLC (1992-98); and the Nashville-based law firm of King & Ballow PC (1991-92). Upon graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1990, he served for one year as a law clerk for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. He is a 1984 graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service (BSFS), with a major in International Economics. Prior to law school, Gregg participated in a Peace Corps-like economic development program in Peru, South America, and he subsequently worked with Africare, Inc. and International Voluntary Services, Inc.
Gregg is a contributing author of The Fair Labor Standards Act (BNA, 2000). In fall 2005, he prepared and presented the '"Employment Law Year in Review" program for the national convention of the Association of Corporate Counsel. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management
Dawn Haghighi

Dawn Haghighi, is Director and Corporate Governance Counsel for Cunard Line and Princess Cruise Lines Ltd. Ms. Haghighi's former positions include Director, Vice President Legal Department Illinois Division for Charter One Bank, a member of the Royal Bank of Scotland, Corporate Counsel for Interstate/Fireman's Fund, a member of the Allianz Group and Employment Counsel Midwest Division Nordstrom, Inc. She attended law school at Case Western Reserve University and college at The College of Wooster. She also attended Middlebury College and Wellesley College Beijing Campus for Chinese language studies.

National U.S. Hong Kong Business Association Board of Directors. Founding member and Chairman of the National Board of Directors. Over 2,000 participant members in the U.S. The Board oversees the activities of the seven member Hong Kong trade business associations in the United States. 2003- present.
Association of Corporate Counsel Chicago Chapter Board of Directors, Chairman In-house legal bar association with over 800 members in the Chicago Chapter. 2000 - present.
Chinese American Service League ("CASL") Board of Directors. CASL is a non-profit community based social service agency. Over 200 bilingual and bicultural professional and support staff coordinate programming, reaching more than 12,000 Chinese and non-Chinese clients who live in the Chicago Chinatown area. CASL has an annual budget of 5.8 million dollars. 1991- 2006.
Hong Kong Business Association of the Midwest ("HKBAM"). Member of the Board of Directors Vice President/Treasurer and past president. The HKBAM promotes dialogue and exchange among business owners and executives involved in international trade with a focus on the Pacific Rim. 1989 - present.
