The parent organizations started in Costa Rica and Guatemala during the sixties; the regional project, developed by John Aguilar Q. and Juan Carlos Castillo Ch. while studying at Harvard Law School, began in 1991. Today, the firm has offices in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, and El Salvador.
