Overview

Martindale-Hubbell, the authoritative resource for information on the worldwide legal profession, has been hosting Counsel to Counsel forums throughout the world since 2000. These sessions, which bring together senior corporate counsel and partners at law firms, are designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices regarding corporate legal department management.

Dozens of forums have been held from Paris to Singapore and Chicago to Houston. These uniquesessions provide corporate counsel with an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue about the key issues they are facing. Topics range from Managing Corporate Crisis to Balancing Local and Regional Laws in a Global Business.

The Counsel to Counsel Goal
The Counsel to Counsel forums offer participants the opportunity to share business experiences and professional insights, "off-the-record," in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Each session is co-hosted by as many as three law firms.

Counsel to Counsel Forums
Each discussion is led by two corporate counsel co-chairs and a professional facilitator. Approximately 12-18 senior corporate counsel engage in a high-level dialogue about innovative ways to manage a corporate legal department. In addition, up to six partners from co-hosting law firms also participate in the discussions. Together, participants examine best practices for navigating the complex issues facing in-house counsel today.

A cocktail/coffee break during the discussion facilitates social interaction between the participants.

Through this unique format, both in-house counsel and law firm participants benefit from an open, dynamic and multifaceted discourse.

Participation
Participation is by invitation only, but you must apply to attend. Only lawyers employed as corporate counsel may apply to attend and there is no charge for corporate counsel attendees. Cancellation fees may apply.
