Colorado Bar Association1900 Grant Street, Suite 900 Established: 1897 Bar Profile: Through the years, the CBA has provided members with many opportunities to improve their legal skills, to engage in public service and to participate in the legal profession's statewide organization. Four out of every five of the active lawyers registered in Colorado belong to the CBA. The Association is directed by a diverse group representing the 27 affiliate local bar associations, the law schools, the courts and various segments of the legal community. Continuing Legal Education in Colorado, Inc. ("CLECI") is the nonprofit corporation organized to serve as the educational arm of the CBA. CLECI offers a full range of educational services including live programs, audio and video tapes, publications and consulting services. In addition to offering programs for its members, the CBA conducts activities which have a positive influence in a variety of law-related areas. The public service activities of the CBA create a better understanding of the law and provide legal assistance to the community.
