Our Mission: Despite the European harmonisation of national laws in the pharmaceutical field, important national differences continue to exist, as do differences in how individual EU Member States apply the EU rules. In addition, a number of European countries remain outside the EU and their laws in this area display significant differences. The need to keep abreast of the status of and developments in several legal regimes therefore remains as great as ever.

A network of European law firms specialising in pharmaceutical, health-care and medical law has been established under the name of conférence bleue - European Lawyers' Conference on Pharmaceutical and Health Care Affairs. This is a unique and informal grouping of independent practices which cooperate informally to find answers for clients in the health-care industry. The member firms make available their extensive expertise and experience in this highly regulated and technically complex field for the benefits of clients in need of a service which is both specialised and comprehensive.

conférence bleue has members in 19 European countries, with a world-wide presence through over 92 international offices. The network will expand as client needs warrant, and we are committed to ensuring that the network remains a pre-eminent provider of legal services in the field on a pan-European basis.

The network maintains a central office in Munich, Germany, which coordinates the activities of conférence bleue and serves as its headquarters. The office thus serves as a "one-stop shop" for accessing our network of specialized law firms, available to clients in need of legal advice and assistance on a multi-jurisdictional or European level.
