Biography

Mr. Wekerle graduated Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology. He received his Masters of Science in Pharmacology in 2012 from Tulane University. During his tenure at Tulane, he researched stem cell growth and cardiac smooth muscle receptors. After obtaining his degree, Mr. Wekerle spent two years in Puebla, Mexico, teaching science and mastering the Spanish language, which he speaks fluently. In 2014, Mr. Wekerle returned to the United States to attend law school. He received his Juris Doctor degree from The University of Arizona. As a law student, he was involved in the Environmental Law Journal and part of the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship clinic, where he assisted new entrepreneurs develop their ideas. Mr. Wekerle competed in the Moot Court competition and led his team to the Nationals in Washington D.C.

Mr. Wekerle was admitted to the New Mexico Bar in 2017, and practices in the areas of medical malpractice, insurance defense, general litigation, bad faith litigation, and personal injury.
