Biography

Carter B. Webb is an attorney in the Asheville office of Strauss Attorneys, PLLC.

Carter was born in Asheville, but grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. His mother grew up in Asheville and his maternal grandparents lived their entire lives in Western North Carolina.

Carter began his career with Strauss Attorneys, PLLC (formerly Strauss and Associates, PA) in 2011 and is in charge of the Estate Administration Department for the firm. His practice also includes helping individuals with their estate planning needs. He is a North Carolina Bar Certified Mediator in Superior Court and with the Clerk of Court. He is a member of both the North Carolina Bar and the South Carolina Bar.

Background

In 1993, Carter graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. In 1996 he started working as a Systems Analyst for Palmetto GBA (a subsidiary of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina). With a wife and children, Carter left the workforce in 2006 to attend law school. He graduated from the University Of South Carolina School Of Law in 2009 and then accepted a job with the University Of South Carolina Of Medicine as the Assistant Director of Legal Affairs and the Privacy Officer. He worked there until he joined Strauss Attorneys, PLLC. Carter is married to Leigh and they have a daughter (Reagan) and a son (Beckett) who keep them busy.
