The National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) is a not-for-profit organization headquartered in Louisville, Colorado. Having trained over 100,000 attorneys since its inception in 1971, NITA is dedicated to improving litigation skills and developing associated materials, and thereby contributing to the development of an adequately trained, professionally responsible trial bar to better serve the needs of justice in the United States and the world.
The NITA Faculty designation identifies a faculty member who has taught in at least six NITA programs and has consistently received superior evaluations. NITA's Faculty are regularly critiqued and evaluated to ensure that we provide the highest quality training.
The three NITA Designations of Advocate, Master Advocate, and Faculty are designed to provide professional recognition to our program faculty and participants. In achieving each of the Advocate Designations, participants have accomplished a series of courses that teach expertise in trial advocacy. The NITA Faculty designation has been accorded faculty members that have continuously maintained a highly rated teaching level.
