Dionysis is an associate at the Firm which he joined in 2004. He is specialised in all types of financing arrangements, securitisations and bond issues. He has extensive experience in advising on the sale and servicing of non-performing secured and unsecured loans and cards portfolios, and the licensing and operation of servicing platforms. Dionysis advises on asset, project, real estate, ship, leveraged and structured finance transactions and has developed an expertise in advising leading national and international credit and financial institutions on complex banking regulatory compliance issues. He has experience in financial restructurings, rehabilitations and insolvency proceedings. He is a lecturer adjunct at Athens University (Economics Department), teaching civil, commercial, banking and capital markets law. He also teaches a training programme on the legislative framework for the non-performing loans on the Internal Training Programme at a Greek systemic credit institution. Dionysis is widely published and cited and regularly contributes by way of articles, chapters and comments to leading international and Greek legal volumes, commentaries and periodicals. Dionysis is a member of the Bank of Greece and Hellenic Capital Markets Commission’s Examination Committee for the provision of investment services certification under Law 4514/2018 (MiFID II). Prior to joining the Firm, Dionysis practiced with Eurobank London and Thomas Coopers Solicitors.
