Aaron Moody, an associate in the Business Practices group, focuses his practice on critical business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, financings, venture capital investments and private placements. He also assists with many in-bound cross-border acquisitions.

Before joining Eversheds Sutherland (US), Aaron was an associate at a law firm in Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to law school, Aaron served as a consumer economic risk analyst at a multinational banking and financial services corporation.

Represented MSouth Equity Partners in its acquisition of TRP Construction Group, a leading provider of thermoplastic striping, painting and markers, rumble strips, and traffic control services.
Represented a multinational technology services firm in the acquisition of a company that specializes in the development of applications and point-of-sale software for the restaurant industry.
Represented Willis Towers Watson, a global risk management, insurance brokerage and advisory company, in the sale of a portion of its program businesses to AmWINS.
Represented Willis Towers Watson in the acquisition of its usage-based insurance (UBI) assets by Octo Telematics, the leading global provider of telematics for the auto insurance industry.
Represented an investment fund in the purchase of membership interest in an optometry business.
Represented a large media company in the sale of its newspapers and related media assets in Texas.
Represented a large media company in the sale of two Florida newspapers and related assets.
Represented a client in the acquisition of three Class II saltwater disposal wells.
Represented client in its strategic investment in a leading provider of high-bandwidth, fiber-based communications networks and related services.
Represented Cox Media Group in its sale of the businesses of Cox Target Media to Platinum Equity.
Represented Interior Logic Group subsidiary ?Tile-It Industries, Inc. in the purchase of substantially all the assets of Sterling Purchasing Corp.
Represented a wastewater treatment company in the acquisition of three wastewater treatment facilities.
Represented TRP Construction Group in the acquisition of 100% of the issued and outstanding membership interests of Southern States Pavement Markings, LLC.
Advised GMS, Inc., the largest distributor of wallboard and related building materials in the US, on its acquisition of WSB Titan, Canada’s leading independent building supplies dealer.
