Biography

Caroline Wood advises clients on private capital matters, including private equity transactions and venture capital investments. She also counsels on general corporate governance matters as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining Eversheds Sutherland (US), Caroline participated in the firm’s 2015 Summer Associate program. Her previous experience includes serving as a legal intern for an international apparel design and marketing company.

Experience

Represented SunTrust Bank in the sale of its Tallahassee-based commercial lines insurance premium finance subsidiary, Premium Assignment Corporation, to IPFS Corporation.
Represented Hotel Development Partners, LLC in the sale of retail parcels in Sterling Pointe, a multi-use development in Atlanta.
Represented a large media company in the sale of its newspapers and related media assets in Texas.
Represented a wastewater treatment company in the acquisition of three wastewater treatment facilities.
Represented a large media company in the sale of two Florida newspapers and related assets.
