J.C. Roper focuses his practice in workers' compensation defense litigation representing Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations, employers, insurers, self-insured corporations from retail, manufacturing, restaurant and other industries. He has tried numerous cases before the State Board of Workers' Compensation, argued appeals in Superior Courts, and defended claims through the state Supreme Court level.
Mr. Roper is a 2008 Nominee of the FCDR On The Rise Award and 2007 Nominee for the Top 40 Attorneys Under 40 Atlanta Business Chronicle. He has received an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale Hubbell for his high ethical standards and professionalism.
Mr. Roper is a frequent speaker and author on workers' compensation topics. He is a Council on Litigation Management member (CLM) where he currently serves on the Education and Training and the Medical Issues in Workers' Compensation subcommittees for CLM. Mr Roper is a past speaker for the Fulton County Daily Report/ALM In-House Counsel CLE series on workers' compensation issues for the in-house corporate counsel and risk manager.
