Mark Elliott is a partner in and the head of the real estate section at Troutman Sanders, where he has practiced for over 30 years. Mark has an expertise in office development, financing and leasing, primarily representing developers and institutional and entrepreneurial owners and landlords. He has a very active office leasing practice, and he typically is involved in the largest lease deals done in Atlanta every year, as listed in the annual lists published by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. His clients include several publically traded real estate companies and active real estate developers, operators and investors. He also has an expertise in hotel and lodging development and finance, where he primarily represents national hotel franchisors and owners.
Mark serves on the board of directors of the Midtown Alliance. He is also the past Chairman of the City of Atlanta's Neighborhood Planning Unit-B and is a graduate of and was later the chairman of "Leadership Buckhead." Mark has served as the Chairman of the Northside Youth Organization, the largest youth sports organization in the State of Georgia.
Mark is a frequent speaker at real estate seminars, continuing legal education functions and symposiums, and he has been awarded the "Top Rated Faculty" award, by Corenet Global Learning. He is also a frequent writer on real estate topics in the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
