Pete Pappas co-heads the Eversheds Sutherland Global Intellectual Property group, and counsels clients in a variety of global industries-including energy and chemical companies-on all aspects of new patent development, transactions and protecting existing intellectual property. With a degree in chemical engineering, Pete concentrates in chemical patent prosecution, but also advises clients in mechanical patent prosecution, federal trademark prosecution, licensing, validity and infringement opinions and litigation support.

Pete has substantial experience in prosecuting patents for packaged beverage manufacturing, colloids, food chemistry, renewable energy, polymeric nonwoven products and manufacturing equipment, paper technology, water treatment, flexible packaging, textiles, agricultural chemicals, printing, carbon black, polymer extrusion equipment, latex gloves, xerography, electro-chemistry, electro-luminescence, ceramics and other aspects of polymer technology. Pete is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Provided many IP services to ceramic, carbon honeycomb monoliths maker.
Provided diverse IP services to specialty chemicals producer.
Counseled a leading air and water filtration company on IP matters with applications for the for the oil, gas and manufacturing industries.
