Rob Ellis counsels clients in their critical business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, financings, venture capital investments and private placements. He also routinely provides general corporate representation and advice to his clients. His recent experience includes a number of M&A transactions involving the building products, chemicals, manufacturing and consumer products industries.

During a prior secondment with a client, Rob worked in the legal department of a global provider of chemical and building products, where he served as the in-house M&A attorney on a number of corporate transactions.

Advised MSouth Equity Partners in acquisition of a building products and services company.
Represented a building supply portfolio company of MSouth Equity Partners, LLC, in its acquisition of six similar businesses.
Represented Signal Holdings in the formation of Gotcha Media Holdings to provide targeted media opportunities on college campuses.
Represented Axiall in a joint venture with Lotte Chemical for the development, construction and operation of an ethane center in Louisiana.
Represented a U.S. thermocouple manufacturer in the cross-border sale of its operations in the UK and the Netherlands.
Advised a private equity investment firm in financing the acquisition of two building supply and services companies specializing in engineered stone and solid surfaces.
Represented a food and beverage company in the acquisition of a healthy snack foods company.
Represented a global snack food company in connection with its acquisition of four North Carolina-based snack food companies.
Represented Interior Logic Group subsidiary ?Tile-It Industries, Inc. in the purchase of substantially all the assets of Sterling Purchasing Corp.
Advised the ?Advanced Flooring & Design division of ISI, LLC in the acquisition of substantially all the assets of Coleman Floor, LLC.
