Stacy D. Fredrich

Stacy D. Fredrich: Attorney with Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP

Biography

Stacy Fredrich is a partner at Eversheds Sutherland, where she counsels clients on intellectual property (IP) issues. Stacy prepares and prosecutes domestic and international utility and design patent applications, primarily for clients in the chemical, mechanical, energy, consumer products and life sciences (biotech and medical device) industries.

Stacy regularly counsels clients on patent portfolio strategy and management, prepares patentability, validity, and product clearance opinions, and advises on due diligence and transactional matters relating to the transfer of IP.

She has successfully helped solo inventors (such as a retired ER nurse whom she represented pro bono), small and non-profit organizations (such as medical device start-ups and universities), and large corporations (such as multinational consumer products and specialty chemicals companies) alike to obtain patents on their inventions.

Stacy holds a degree in chemical engineering and is registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office.
