Biography

Suzanne Palms advises Fortune 100 companies and other large corporations on complex state and local tax controversies at the administrative, trial and appellate levels. She also counsels on tax planning and policy matters for all state tax types including sales and use, income, franchise, property and telecommunication taxes.

Her previous experience included serving as a graduate fellow at the Council On State Taxation (COST), where she worked directly with COST attorneys in reporting and responding to significant administrative, judicial and legislative developments throughout the country. Before her legal career, she served as a certified public accountant at a Big Four accounting firm, where she prepared and reviewed federal and state tax returns and provisions and assisted clients with state tax planning.
