Severin Roberts is a Partner at Barrett & Farahany, LLP and the head of the Wage and Hour group . Severin’s practice is devoted to representing clients in employment law matters, with a particular focus in wage and hour litigation, including individual FLSA claims and large collective actions. Prior to joining Barrett & Farahany, Severin worked at a boutique litigation firm, where he gained extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in employment, tort, and commercial litigation cases, including actions brought under The Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII race, gender, retaliation, and religious discrimination, 42 U.S .C. § 1981, 42 U.S.C § 1983 (claims brought under the 1st, 4th, 5th and 14th Amendments to the United States Constitution), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, and the Equal Pay Act.
Severin is a graduate of Tulane University Law School and a member of the Georgia Bar. While in law school, Severin was selected to serve in Tulane’s Domestic Violence Litigation Clinic, through which he represented victims of domestic violence in a variety of civil litigation matters.
