Biography

Valerie Sanders, a member of Eversheds Sutherland (US)'s Litigation Practice Group, has significant experience in consumer and insurance class actions; copyright, trademark, and licensing disputes; and in international arbitration proceedings. She represents clients in commercial arbitration cases as well as in commercial and bankruptcy litigation in U.S. trial and appellate courts. Valerie works with various financial services industry companies, including banks, finance firms and insurance companies, as well as firms in the energy industry.

Valerie speaks and writes frequently about jurisdictional, class-action, and international arbitration issues. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and of the American Bar Association.

Represented a leading payment processor in creating a strategic relationship with a leading electronic wallet provider to enable acceptance at several million U.S. merchant locations.
Achieved a favorable award for a U.S. conglomerate in ICC arbitration arising from its purchase of a Brazilian company from Brazilian and German owners.
