O'Dea joined McKee Billings in 2015. Her nearly 20 years of experience includes work in private practice and government. Early in O’Dea’s career she worked in the Maine Attorney General’s Office a as an Assistant Attorney General. O’Dea’s work as an AAG was groundbreaking as she handled multiple complex litigation matters and earned national recognition for her leading role in facilitating a national settlement with tobacco companies that continues to bring millions of dollars to Maine every year. Before joining McKee Billings she was a partner at two Augusta law firms.
O'Dea's current practice includes business law, wills and probate matters, gaming law and administrative work before state agencies and licensing boards. She has appeared before the federal courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States, as well as the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, and Maine's trial courts. She also appears regularly before the Maine Gambling Control Board, the Maine Human Rights Commission and numerous other state agencies and boards.
