  • The Mexican legal system has been experiencing relevant changes in the last few years, mainly with the purpose of complying with a number of international business standards and to maintain Mexico as one of the top players on the developing countries’ contest to attract foreign investments. One of the historical problems of Mexico has been the tremendous complexity for companies to access capital to fund the growth of their business. The Mexican Congress has approved certain amendments aimed to induce asset-backed financing relying on Mexican assets or assets subject to Mexican laws.
