Practicing law since 1994, Andree Cullens is a Partner at Taylor Porter, practicing in bankruptcy law, commercial litigation, and employment litigation.&
Serving as primary& defense counsel, Andree has successfully represented debtors, debtors-in-possession, creditors, and trustees in chapter seven and eleven bankruptcy, while her commercial litigation& includes commercial bank work outs and litigation, including foreclosures, revocatory actions, and wrongful seizure. In her employment law practice, she has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in employment litigation, including ERISA, ADA, and Title VII claims.
Andree holds an AV-Preeminent peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
Andree is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, in the federal district courts for the Middle, Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.& She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Baton Rouge Bar Association.
Andree is a member of Leadership Alumni of Greater Baton Rouge and was a member of the 2015 Baton Rouge Area Chamber Leadership Class.
In the community, Andree is a family selection committee& member for Habitat for Humanity and a volunteer for the Episcopal High School Annual Fund and Fair. She formerly& volunteered for& several nonprofit and community organizations, including Junior League& of Baton Rouge, LSU Hilltop Arboretum, Louisiana Arts and Science Center and& Bungee Jumpers.& &
Andree& graduated from University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts in 1989. She received her Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University in 1994. While in law school, Andree was called to active duty during Operation Desert Storm and served as Finance Corps Sergeant with the 4010th U.S. Army Hospital at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital in Fort Polk, Louisiana. Achieving the highest rank of Sergeant, she received the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious performance of duties as the finance clerk for the reserve personnel on active duty and preparing soldiers for demobilization in support of Operation Desert Storm.
In her spare time, Andree enjoys spending time with her family, husband, J.E. Cullens, Jr., since 1994, two children,& Cameron and Grace, and& she also enjoys& gardening, fishing, reading, running and sailing.&
