Sarah N. White



Sarah White is an Associate at Taylor Porter, where she practices in various areas of general commercial litigation. Sarah is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, in the United States District Courts for the Middle, Eastern, and Western Districts of Louisiana.

Before entering her legal practice, Sarah was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable James L. Dennis at the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, gaining experience in criminal and civil litigation. Through various law firm clerkships, including at Taylor Porter, Sarah gained further experience in transactions, litigation, and medical malpractice.

Sarah earned her J.D., magna cum laude, in 2018 from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif; served as articles editor of the Louisiana Law Review; was a member of the LSU Law Moot Court Board; and won the 2016 Robert Lee Tullis Moot Court Competition. Sarah graduated from LSU in 2014 with a bachelor of arts in mass communication, specifically print journalism, and a minor in business. At LSU, she wrote for the university newspaper, The Daily Reveille. Sarah was a recipient of the Bill Lynch Memorial Scholarship, a journalism honor.

Sarah is the author of "The Medical Malpractice Cure: Stitching Together the Coleman Factors," published in the Louisiana Law Review, Fall 2017 edition (78 La. L. Rev. 311).
